Starter Guitar Kit: Keeping with the theme of a beginner guitar journey, I’m sharing this starter guitar package. This is exactly how my journey began. A simple Fender Strat and a little practice amp. These guitars play well for their price range. And the amp is the perfect power for home practice. Rudies Come Back: The Rise and Rise of 2 Tone (Documentary): I’m a big fan of ska and 2 Tone, so this was a great discovery on the iPlayer last week. SO much good footage of bands like The Specials and The Selecter. And a fascinating look at how an independent record label, operating from a flat in Coventry, co-ordinated a musical revolution.
