That’s awesome. In one of my music therapy groups, one of our favorite songs was brand new to the group when we started. Everyone loves it and sings like they’ve known it all their lives. I’m looking forward to reading more about your work.

Thank you Amy. I greatly appreciate you reading this article - and sharing your insight. It's wonderful to hear the song you referenced, was having that level of impact. I am continually amazed by the stimulation music provides - and the overall mental and physical wellbeing, that musical participation promotes.

Many thanks! Looking forward to seeing more of your writing too 🙂

Hi Marc, inspiring. I clicked through to browse your charity, TIME. I'm so impressed and uplifted by how much fun, joy and music you and the team, and your charity are bringing to so many people!

I'm going to send a message via DM, meanwhile perhaps when you have time you could explore around Carer Mentor: Empathy and Inspiration? The website (aka Substack homepage) (desktop version is best: https://www.carermentor.com/ ) in particular, the Dementia Anthology. You'll see an article 'Music is more powerful than words.' Thanks!
